Seems the only games which give me no problem with mods are Steam based games like SKYRIM and FALLOUT NEW VEGAS. I want to uninstall it because it looks very bad with widescreen resolutions. For some reason though with Steam it doesnt work and its the same problem with BT Mod. I used it all the time on my non-steam version of OBLIVION. for LOD level 4, the noise texture is repeated 3 times to cover 4 cells, for LOD level 8, the noise texture is repeated 3 times to cover 8 cells and so on. Do you not think it *might* be user error or a corrupted download of the OMOD (you *did* use the OMOD and not manual install, right?) rather than the mod being a POS? Regardless, I've already told you, try BT Mod, that's the other one that tends to come up if you look for a UI mod for Oblivion, but I've not personally used it as I tested DarNified first and decided to stick with it There's also DarkUI, but the non-DarN version is listed by the mod author as outdated and probably not stable, and superceded by the DarkUId DarN I think this is a standalone mod, so you wouldn't have to re-install DarNified, but I think I did try to install this at one point and had some sort of trouble with it, can't remember what, think it basically just wouldn't install. Ive had it happen a few times when Ive messed or removed the file. There were a few mods that I had that changed the same.
The only issues I ran into for Darnified was that I had to install it with OBMM rather than Wrye Bash, along with manually changing the font section in the oblivion.ini file. This happens when you change a setting and it affects the ini file. I recently modded Oblivion for a new run. I am used to having FMM prompt me to overwrite files but do not see Vortex asking me this on FOMOD files. This is the main problem I am having using Vortex. It is the second most popular Oblivion mod of all time on the Nexus. of 2 - DarNified UI issues - posted in Oblivion Mod Troubleshooting: Just disable DarNified and re-enable it again with OBMM. Have installed Darnified UI + Hot Fix (version a11 FOMOD) through Vortex and all seems to be working fine except the font size.
